Q: What should I bring to camp?

A: For a detailed list of what to bring, please see the Packing List on our website.

Q: Can I bring snacks to camp?

A: There will be a large variety of snacks available at camp. If your child needs to bring their own snacks, we ask that they be NUT FREE. We have many girls attending camp who have life-threatening nut allergies, so we are a 100% nut-free camp. Please make sure they do not contain any type of nut - check for a nut-free symbol on packaging. Because of curious critters, snacks should not be kept in tents or cabins, but should be turned into adult leaders for safe keeping in the kitchen or in cars.

Q: Will allergies and other special food needs be covered at camp?

A: Yes! Gluten-free, Vegetarian and Dairy-free dietary needs will be covered at camp (in addition, camp is nut-free). Please make sure to indicate these dietary needs on your registration from. Other dietary needs and restrictions outside this scope may need to be covered by additional and specific foods brought from home.

Q: What if I don't have some of the camping supplies (sleeping pad, camp chair, etc.) on the pack list?

A: If you don't have access to camping supplies and need help obtaining them, please reach out to friends, family, ward members, or Emily Wheeler.

Q: Will youth be sleeping in tents or cabins?

A: With the exception of YCLs, campers will be sleeping in cabins designated by their ward and supervised by ward adult Young Women leaders. YCLs will sleep in their own designated cabins with stake leaders nearby.

4th Year Hikers, please see your own packing list and your hike leaders for more instructions on sleeping arrangements.

Q: Can 4th Years who don't go on the 4th Year Hike still attend camp?

A: Yes! Any 4th Years who do not want to attend the hike are welcome to attend camp for the full week.

For 4th Years who choose the hike, they will not return to camp at the conclusion of the hike.

Q: Can campers bring a cell phone?

A: Please leave electronic devices at home (e.g., cell phones, tablets, computers, music players, gaming devices, etc.). This is your chance to fully immerse yourself in the camp experience; we don't want you to miss out on any of it! Adult leaders will be able to help with emergency phone calls if needed.
