Overview
A spiritual adventure
Are you ready for the ultimate adventure of your life? If you are a young man or woman who will be a senior in high school in the fall of 2024, you are invited to join us for a thrilling whitewater rafting trip on the Main Salmon River in Idaho. This is not your ordinary camping trip. This is a 4 night, 5 day journey through the wild and scenic Idaho wilderness, where you will face the challenges and joys of nature with your friends and leaders.
You will paddle through rapids ranging from class II to class III, feeling the adrenaline rush as you navigate the waves and rocks. You will also relax and enjoy the serene beauty of the river, swimming in the clear water, spotting wildlife, and camping on white sand beaches. Every night, you will gather around the campfire for inspiring devotionals, where you will study the Book of Mormon and learn how to follow the Savior's example in your daily life. You will discover how the Book of Mormon can guide you on your own "Journeys in Discipleship" as you seek to become more like Christ.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have fun, learn new skills, and grow closer to God and each other on this amazing river adventure. Click here to register now!

Safety
Safety will be a top priority
Rafting is an adventure accessible to all fitness levels and abilities. The river we have chosen is safe, family-friendly and well suited for self-guided rafting.
It is comprised mainly of Class I and II water, with the occasional Class III. Our leaders have rafted this section of the river before and are familiar with the rapids.
The main Class III rapids can be viewed below:
The river runs almost entirely along US 95 allowing for easy exit in case of emergency.
As we lead up to the experience, there will be a series of safety videos that you will be required to watch as part of their preparation.
Ability to swim is required.
Life jackets will be provided and required at all times when in the water -- no exceptions.
Youth Leadership
Your part in the expedition
Working in teams, you will lead the cooking and clean up of all our meals in addition to helping with the rigging and de-rigging of boats.
While on the river, food will be provided with instructions on preparation and cleanup. We have a great system to make managing this easy.
